These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders, sales contracts, deliveries, and services on our website amplerbikes.com, in our showrooms, partner stores, by telephone, e-mail, post or on any sales channels with an official presence by Ampler.

Ampler Bikes has the right to revise the Terms and Conditions at any time, without informing you. To be up to date with the latest version and any changes, periodically read through the Terms and Conditions. If a change in the Terms and Conditions materially affects your existing rights and/or obligations, Ampler will make its best efforts to notify you of such change via e-mail.

The product offerings on the web store of Ampler Bikes are directed to private consumers and to business customers entering into a contract with Ampler Bikes without a business purpose, trade intent or self-employed professional activity.

2. ORDERING AND PAYMENT

Orders can be placed directly on amplerbikes.com, in our showrooms, partner stores, by email or any official sales channels. You can place an order on amplerbikes.com by following the instructions on the screen after clicking on the desired item. You have the possibility to check and correct input errors in your order by clicking on your desired payment option in the shopping cart checkout process. When you place an order for goods through amplerbikes.com by clicking on the payment option, your order is deemed to be an offer to us to order the goods in your shopping basket at the time of checkout. The contract is formed when Ampler Bikes accepts the order. The order will only be confirmed after full prepayment of the order.

During special campaigns for a limited time, such as the option to place a deposit instead of a full payment, we hold the bike for you until the remaining amount is paid in full within 7 days of notice from Ampler. A final order confirmation is made after the final payment arrives, after which the shipment will be fulfilled.

The contract will be entered into in English, Dutch, Estonian, Norwegian or German, based on your choice of language on amplerbikes.com at the time of ordering. Orders made in French will receive an invoice in English. Please note that Ampler will preserve the text of the contract (the invoice together with the then current Terms and Conditions) which will remain available to you through our e-mail hello@amplerbikes.com

Components used in our bikes may from time to time change without prior notice. Please verify the components used in our bikes using our site before ordering. In case you have tried an Ampler bike using the ambassador program and certain features or components of the bike are important to you, please contact us beforehand to verify if any of the components have been changed.

Model categories sold on amplerbikes.com, showrooms and official sales channels

All bikes are either:

New – either brand-new Generation 2 bikes or, if so indicated, brand-new Generation 1 bikes.

Refurbished – bikes with minor visual defects, but still giving the full Ampler riding experience.

Pre-loved – bikes that have embarked on a few more adventures and might have some usage marks, scratches here and there, but still provide the full Ampler riding experience.

All bikes can be returned within the conditions noted under section 5.
Note that the warranty conditions listed under section 8 apply depending on model category. Please note also, that for categories other than “New”, visual defects present at time of purchase are not covered by warranty. For “Refurbished” and “Pre-loved” bikes, which are classified as used goods, the legal warranty period may be reduced to one year in accordance with applicable national laws. This reduced period applies if permitted by law in your country and is expressly agreed upon at the time of purchase. This does not affect your rights in the event of intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty, or injury to life, body, or health.

The contract will relate only to those specific goods which are referred to in our email confirming our acceptance of your order. You should read and check the details in this email to ensure that they are correct. If the details in the email confirming your order are not correct, or if you are not satisfied with the details in the email, please contact us at hello@amplerbikes.com.

Where we accept your order, we have a legal duty to supply goods that conform to these Terms and Conditions. After the acceptance of an order, Ampler Bikes is entitled to cancel the order without stating its reasons according to our cancellation policy. In such a case, Ampler Bikes is obligated to refund the payment already made by the customer.

Ampler bikes are sold exclusively on amplerbikes.com, in our showrooms, partner stores and on any sales channels with an official presence by Ampler. Any third-party retailers selling Ampler Bikes products are strictly unofficial. We accept no liability or responsibility for any third party services or for the content of third party advertisements, including, without limitation, any error, omission, or inaccuracy contained in their offers, or for any loss or damage that may arise from such offers.

You have the right to cancel your order at any time before the product has been shipped out from Ampler Bikes workshop in Tallinn, Estonia, according to our cancellation policy. In such a case, Ampler Bikes is obligated to refund the payment already made during 14 days after the cancellation notice. You also have a right to return your order according to section 5 of these Terms and Conditions and our cancellation policy.

3. PRICE AND DELIVERY COSTS

All prices on amplerbikes.com are quoted in EUR, CHF, NOK or GBP, based on the country version of our website that you have chosen.

Also applies in showrooms, partner stores and sales channels: The net prices of our products include valued added tax (VAT). We ship inside the European Union, to the United Kingdom, Norway, Liechtenstein and Switzerland, with the exception of EU-Outermost Regions (ORs), Malta, Cyprus, Gibraltar, as well as UK Crown Dependencies.

The costs for shipping are calculated and displayed during the checkout process. The customer is responsible for any extra delivery charges (e.g., delivery outside business hours or bike warehousing due to non-acceptance of delivery) according to the delivery operator's price list. Orders placed at Ampler Showrooms and delivered to the same Showroom location are exempt from shipping costs.

All orders from Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Norway and the United Kingdom include VAT, thus no customs duties are charged.
Companies within the EU that have a valid VAT ID can place VAT-free orders. The tax is not included in the shopping cart on amplerbikes.com as well as on the invoice. The VAT ID can be entered in the respective field when entering the invoice address.

VAT refunds for orders made in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Norway, Liechtenstein and Estonia, can be claimed according to the regulations and directions of the local tax authorities as the VAT rate is adjusted and reported in these countries directly.
The displayed prices are not binding to Ampler Bikes. The displayed prices qualify as a price indication for the customer, not as a confirmed offer. The price information displayed on amplerbikes.com, in showrooms, partner stores as well as on sales channels is subject to change by us without notice. The price displayed at the time of any placed order will be the price applicable to that order.

Occasionally, an error may occur, and goods may be incorrectly priced, in which circumstances we will not be obliged to supply the goods at the incorrect price or at all. We will (at our discretion) either cancel your order and refund the price you have paid, or use reasonable endeavours to contact you and ask you whether you wish to continue with the order with the correct price. If we are unable to contact you, or you do not wish to continue with the order at the correct price, we will cancel your order and refund the money you have paid according to our cancellation policy. However, where the correct price of the goods is less than our stated price, we may, at our discretion, continue with your order and return any amount over the actual order price to you. Ampler Bikes will notify any changes or amendments prior to shipping the product or products.

Ampler Bikes may apply discounts or introduce marketing campaigns or special offers from time to time (special offers). The terms for such special offers will be stipulated in the special offer terms. Unless specified otherwise in the special offer terms, one promotional offer can be used per purchase. In other words, promotional and campaign offers cannot be combined for one purchase.

4. AVAILABILITY AND DELIVERY

The availability information displayed is subject to change by us without notice. We cannot guarantee permanent or continuous availability of all products. All Ampler models are hand-assembled. Delivery of all orders depends on the availability of the relevant Ampler models at the time of the order.

We deliver within the European Union, the United Kingdom, Norway and Switzerland, with the exception of EU-Outermost Regions (ORs) as well as UK Crown Dependencies. We will deliver the goods ordered by you to the address you give us for delivery at the time you make your order on this site.

Delivery will be made in accordance with the information provided after your order has been accepted. The estimated delivery time will be noted at the time of your order and confirmed by email. The delivery time may vary.

We will use reasonable endeavours to deliver the goods on any specified date we agree, or if no date is specified, within 30 days after the date on which we accept your order. In the case of unforeseen circumstances beyond our reasonable control (for example, adverse weather conditions, unpredictable delays caused by traffic congestion, road works, diversions or mechanical breakdowns, unforeseen production delays, delays caused by third-party suppliers, in each case to the extent beyond our reasonable control) we may not be able to deliver the goods within these timescales, and we will not be liable for any delay or failure to deliver the goods if the delay or failure is wholly or partly caused by such circumstances. If a timely delivery does not take place, an alternative delivery date will be provided.

5. RIGHT TO CANCEL & RETURN

You have the right to cancel the contract until the day the goods will be shipped out from our workshop or warehouse in Estonia. The dispatch of the shipment will be notified via email, together with the tracking number.
To exercise the right to cancel, please inform us of your decision to cancel this contract with a clear statement by using one of the following contact details:
Address: Ampler Bikes, Türi tn 10d, 11313 Tallinn, Estonia
E-mail: hello@amplerbikes.com

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired. However, if you decide to send the cancellation notice by regular mail, please let us know also by phone or e-mail as the regular mail may take a number of days to reach us:
Phone number: +372 880 4990; e-mail: hello@amplerbikes.com
This ensures that we can process the refund in a timely manner.

Return policy

After receiving the delivery of the bike you purchased online, you have the right to return the product for a limited period. The return period will expire 30 days after the day you received the product. The bike needs to be sent back to us without undue delay, and in any event no later than 30 days from the day on which you notify us of your cancellation of the contract. The deadline is met if you send back the bike before the period of 30 days has expired. The return cost of the bike is covered by Ampler Bikes, on the condition that the return and the delivery means are determined by Ampler Bikes.

You, the customer, are responsible for returning the bike in its original condition. The bike must be safely packed into the original Ampler box, if not agreed otherwise with Ampler Bikes. In case of questions, please contact us for packaging instructions. All the extras and the original components that are part of the delivery, including the charger and original Ampler tools, must be returned in their original condition. For a full refund, the bike will be carefully checked and must be in its original condition. In case of dispute, proof such as a photo taken at the time of shipping is required.

The following conditions must be met for a return:

The bike must have no more than 100 km of usage.
No modifications, replacements, or removals of any original components are permitted.
No work should have been performed on the electronic system, including hardware or firmware.
No signs of physical damage (e.g., scratches, dents, or other visible damages).
If the customer causes damage to the product (e.g. through misuse, accidents, or negligence), they are liable for the cost of repair or replacement of the affected parts. Ampler reserves the right to invoice the customer for such costs.

Exchanging the bike for any other model, size, colour, and configuration is possible at our discretion only after the original bike is first returned to us under the conditions named above. Any exchange bike is subject to availability. We will exclude shipping costs for the exchange bike, if the return of the original bike is handled in due time.

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement, or in case of an exchange, may charge for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of incorrect handling of the goods. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than – (a) 30 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or (b) (if earlier) 30 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or (c) if there were no goods supplied, 30 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.

You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling of the goods other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

For showroom and partner store pick-ups (bikes set up and handed over by our staff or partners), returns or exchanges are not possible.

If you have chosen a leasing and/or insurance provider through us, your leasing and/or insurance contract will end together with your termination of the purchase contract.

Please note that for the payment method “Leasing” we cannot accept returns if the leasing contract has already come into effect through your signature or confirmation of delivery to the leasing provider.

Cancellation by us

We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us without cause. Here are some examples of why it may be necessary for us to cancel the contract: we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered; we do not deliver to your area; or one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price.

If we cancel your contract, we will notify you by email and will credit your account through your initially chosen payment method as soon as possible.

6. TITLE AND RISK

You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you, and we have received full payment for the goods. Once goods have been delivered to you or a person nominated by you, they will be held at your own risk, and you will be responsible for them.

The bike is manufactured according to EN15194 regulations. The bike has a maximum standard speed of 25 km/h and a 250 W power limitation. You will take the full responsibility for intentionally or unintentionally altering any features or motor settings of the bike, including those that can be changed to increase the maximum speed or power of the bike.
You will be taking the full responsibility for using the bike in accordance with the legal restrictions in your country’s traffic regulations. Road safety and traffic rules differ within the European Union, the United Kingdom, Norway, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. Before use, make sure what your country-specific rules are.

7. ASSEMBLY

Our bike comes fully assembled except for the handlebar, pedals, and reflectors. All the tools needed for assembly are included in the package, along with a full manual or link to the full manual. The assembly of the handlebar, pedals, and reflectors are your responsibility, and they need to be assembled according to the instructions in the provided manual, after the bike is delivered to you.
You are fully responsible for your bike after delivery of the product and take full responsibility for the last phase of assembly as described above. You are responsible for evaluating your abilities to do the last phase of assembly and, if necessary, turning to a professional bike workshop for assistance or requesting assistance from our customer support.

8. WARRANTY AND GUARANTEE

Limited Warranty

Ampler offers a combination of statutory and commercial (voluntary) warranties depending on the product category and condition:

New Nova and Nova Pro models (purchased on or after 01.04.2025): 4 years
All other new bikes (purchased before 01.04.2025): 2 years
Previously used and refurbished bikes : 1 year
Spare parts (sold separately): 2 years

Warranty coverage applies from the date of delivery. Additional details regarding the scope of coverage and limitations are outlined below.

Statutory Rights

In accordance with EU and national consumer protection laws, Ampler is legally liable for any non-conformity or manufacturing defect that existed at the time of delivery. This statutory liability generally applies for two years, unless otherwise permitted by law for used goods (see above).

Used Bikes - Reduced Legal Warranty

For bikes classified as “Refurbished” or “Pre-loved”, Ampler limits the statutory legal guarantee period to one year from the date of delivery, where allowed by applicable national law.
This limitation is valid only if the customer expressly agrees to the reduced warranty at the time of purchase (e.g. via checkout acknowledgment or order confirmation).
This does not affect any rights in cases of:
Intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty, or
Damage to life, body, or health.
In jurisdictions where consumer protection laws do not permit such a reduction, the statutory warranty period remains in force as defined by local law.

Scope of Coverage

This limited warranty covers all original components (frame, fork, handlebar, power panel), electronics (motor, controller), and battery. Pre-existing visual defects in categories other than “New”, as named under section 2, are never subject to warranty.

General Terms

All the bicycle components are guaranteed against manufacturing defects (materials and workmanship). During the limited warranty period, Ampler Bikes is liable for replacing or repairing the components subject to the warranty. The warranty is valid in every country we ship to, named under section 3.

Delivery damages should be noted and signed when accepting the delivery in case such damage is visible without removing the package. If there are any clearly visible, severe damages on the package, you are advised to refuse the delivery outright. In any case of delivery damages, visible on the package or upon first visual inspection of the bike without the package, Ampler Bikes should be informed immediately (within one week). Proof of purchase is necessary. Ampler Bikes requires a record of the damages on a photo or the best possible alternative proof.

If any damages occur due to the fault of materials or workmanship during the guarantee period, Ampler Bikes should be informed immediately. In case damages have occurred, the bike should not be used before repair. Customers are kindly asked for the most detailed description possible about the issue and photo and/or video materials if possible. Ampler Bikes is your contact for all defects and will handle the processing of the damages.

The repair or the replacement of a defective bike is handled by Ampler Bikes, by either covering the repair costs incurred using a professional bicycle workshop of the customer’s choice or by transporting the bike to Ampler Bikes’ workshops at our cost. We will instruct you regarding the repair procedure after we have received your notification of a defect. The defective component will be replaced with another original component or with another equivalent component.

Please note that Ampler may refuse covering the repair costs in case you have repaired the bike without a prior notification and authorisation. This is because not all workshops have the necessary tools and parts for a correct repair. Moreover, non-authorised repairs hinder our ability to review the defect and decide whether it falls under the warranty.

Warranty does not cover follow-up maintenance or later integration of extras. Warranty does not apply in cases of modifications, improper assembly or incorrect maintenance. Where the claim is deemed not to be warrantable, we will look to offer a reduced cost replacement.

Please note also that the above describes the sole remedies in case of a defect under this warranty. Specifically, no cash refunds are offered in case of defects under this warranty.

Battery
The battery is considered defective if, within the warranty period, the remaining capacity of the battery becomes less than 70% of the original capacity. The capacity will be tested by a battery capacity analyser in our workshops.

Extended warranty
Ampler offers an extended warranty of 5 years from the date of delivery to the frame and fork of the bike. Other components (such as paint, or components attached to the frame and fork) are not covered under the extended warranty. Please note that the exclusion listed in these Terms and Conditions also apply to the extended warranty (such as mechanical wear and crash damages).

This extended warranty does not apply to bikes in the category “Archive”.

Ampler can offer other extended warranty conditions at their discretion, which will be confirmed in writing.

Wear and tear
With your purchase, you acknowledge that each bicycle is subject to wear and tear in normal use. The warranty will be declined in case of normal wear, tear, neglect, abuse, misuse or crash damages.
The Ampler bike comes with certain wear and tear parts, which are carefully selected from other manufacturers and which do not fall under the Ampler warranty in case of normal wear and tear:

COMPONENT – PRODUCT WEAR NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY

Grips and bar tape – Compression, abrasion and contamination

Tires & inner tubes – Tread, sidewall, or bead wear, as well as typical flat tyres

Pedals – Mechanical wear due to engagement and disengagement, worn out bearings

Saddle – Abrasion and wear from falls and general use, and contamination from water and dirt

Chainring, sprockets and chain – Mechanical wear on parts of the drivetrain

Brake pads – Abrasion between brake pad and braking surface

Bottom bracket – Wear of bottom bracket bearings

Headset – Wear of head bearings

Rims – Excessive impact on uneven roads

Hubs – Worn out bearings and rotating parts (i.e. freehub body)

Belt and belt sprockets – Mechanical wear on parts of the drivetrain

Mechanical wear – Includes colour coating

These components are inevitably subject to inevitably normal wear and tear. As these parts sooner or later reach the end of their service life, the normal level of wear is dependent on time, the care taken and maintenance used by you and subject to their exposure to rain and water, dirt and mud, sand and dust. Read further about how to take care and maintain your bike in the Ampler Bikes manual and the Ampler Website.

Please note that the above parts are subject to the Ampler warranty in case their service life on your bike is shorter than is deemed normal by the manufacturer of the respective part.

Warranty on Spare Parts
Spare parts sold separately and invoiced individually (not part of a complete bike) come with a 2-year limited warranty from the date of delivery. This warranty applies only to new, unused spare parts purchased directly from Ampler.

If a spare part is replaced as part of an in-warranty repair, the replacement part is covered under the remaining duration of the original bike warranty. The act of replacement does not extend or renew the original warranty period of the bicycle or its components.

Failure to service, neglect, and crash damages
The Ampler guarantee does not apply to damages caused by crashes or by your failure to follow the Ampler Bikes manual. Warranty may also be declined in case the damages were caused by using the bike after any damages had occurred.

Replacement or repair
You have a right to demand replacement of the bike only in case defects of the bike are such which, taking into account the nature of the defects, the cost of replacement and the cost of repair, justify replacement of the bike instead of repair.

Time limitation
The warranty for your Ampler bicycle is valid for two years (or 6 months for the "Archive" model category) from the date of delivery, unless expressly stated otherwise. Warranty claims made after this period will be rejected.

If the warranty claim is made more than two years (or 6 months for the "Archive" model category) after the date of delivery, you must be able to prove that the damage occurred before the warranty period expired. Please note that if any damages occur due to the fault of materials or workmanship during the guarantee period, Ampler Bikes should be informed immediately. In case damages have occurred, the bike should not be used before repair.

In the case of a warranty, you must immediately inform us by emailing us at hello@amplerbikes.com (Ampler Bikes, Türi tn 10d, 11313 Tallinn, Estonia
E-mail: hello@amplerbikes.com, 10412 Tallinn, Estonia, phone number: +372 880 4990).

10. LIABILITY

To the extent not prohibited by law, we accept no liability for any:

loss which is not foreseeable (loss is foreseeable if it was a reasonable consequence of our breach or if it was contemplated by you and us at the time you and us entered into our contract);

loss which arises when we are not at fault or in breach of these Terms and Conditions;

loss which arose as a result of the realization of a risk for the prevention of which a contractual obligation had not been taken;

any non-pecuniary loss if the breach of obligation was not aimed at pursuing a non-pecuniary interest and/or we did not have to foresee that a breach of obligation could cause non-pecuniary loss; and

business loss (which includes loss of profits, loss of business, contracts, goodwill, business opportunity and other similar losses, as well as business interruption and losses towards third parties).

Nothing in these terms will affect any liability we may have: (a) for fraudulent misrepresentation; (b) for death or personal injury arising from our negligence: (c) for breach of any condition as to title or quiet enjoyment of or in relation to any goods supplied by us; (d) in relation to any other liability, including any liabilities under sale of goods or supply of services legislation, that may not by applicable law be excluded or limited.
Under the applicable law, we shall not be liable for any loss which arose from circumstances related to you or a risk you created that contributed to that loss. Also, we shall not be liable for any loss that you could reasonably have avoided or reduced, including the event of inactivity, unless our attention is drawn to this unusually high risk of loss.

11. EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL

We will have no liability to you for any delay in delivering the goods you have ordered, if the delays caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control (including, without limitation, accidents, extreme weather conditions, fire, explosion, flood, storm, earthquake, natural disaster, failure of telecommunications networks, inability to use transport networks, acts of God, terrorist attack, war, civil commotion, riots, strikes, lockouts and other industrial disputes, acts or restraints of Government, and imposition of restrictions on imports or exports).

12. PROTECTED RIGHTS

You shall not reverse engineer or disassemble the bike or otherwise attempt to derive the trade secrets or the technical specifications of the components contained therein. Any such attempt immediately voids the warranty and your right to return the bike.
Furthermore, you are liable for any damage caused to Ampler by such reverse engineering, disassembly or the use of information so received. You agree hereby that in case of violating this section of the Terms and Conditions, you are obligated at the request of Ampler to prove that you have not used any information for any purpose (including business, research and development or any other purpose).

You further agree that in case you have used such information for business purposes, Ampler is entitled to receive as reimbursement all income that you have garnered by the use of the information.

13. REFERRAL PROGRAM

Ampler may operate a Referral Program under the following terms and conditions. The Ampler Referral Program is exclusively for registered partners. To participate, you must sign up for a Referrer Account on friends.amplerbikes.com and complete the registration form. Ampler reserves the right to approve or reject any referrer application at its discretion.

Upon acceptance into the Referral Program, each referrer will be provided with a unique Coupon Code. The expiration date and discount rate of each unique coupon code are available in the Referrer Account dashboard. Referrers can share this code with friends and potential buyers to promote Ampler’s e-bikes. Buyers who use a referrer's coupon code will receive a discount on their purchase.

Referrers will earn a fixed commission for each qualified sale made using their unique coupon code. A ‘qualified sale’ means that the e-bike purchased using the coupon code is fully paid for, delivered to the buyer, and the statutory term for no-reason product returns has lapsed (typically 14 days after the buyer has received the e-bike). Commissions are not paid on returned or canceled purchases.

The referrer’s commission rate may vary for different coupons. All rates are available in the Referrer Account. Commissions on qualified sales are paid out once a month on the 15th. Payments will be made via the payment method specified in the referrer account. Ampler may terminate this Referral Program or any referrer account at any time, with or without cause, by providing written notice to the other party. This will not affect the referrer’s commission pending on purchases made before the termination, subject to the qualified sale criteria.

Limitation of Liability: Ampler will not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages (or any loss of revenue, profits, or data) arising in connection with the Referral Program.

No person other than you and us shall have any rights to enforce our contract.

If we fail to insist that you perform any of your obligations under our contract, or if we do not enforce our rights against you, or if we delay in doing so, that will not mean that we have waived our rights against you and will not mean that you do not have to comply with those obligations. If we do waive a default by you, we will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that we will automatically waive any later default by you.

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under our contract, unless we agree in writing. Each time you order or otherwise purchase any goods from us, the Terms and Conditions in force at that time will apply (as set out on amplerbikes.com).
