Ampler Bikes OÜ is a private limited company operating the Ampler Bikes brand, established under Estonian law. Ampler Bikes GmbH is Ampler Bikes OÜ’s subsidiary in Germany. This site is operated by and the goods you purchase or the services you order will be supplied by Ampler Bikes OÜ and Ampler Bikes GmbH (hereafter referred as “Ampler Bikes”, “we,” “us,” “our”).

Ampler Bikes maintains and provides access to a website and a collection of services. These Terms and Conditions apply on all orders, sales contracts, deliveries and services on our website www.amplerbikes.com, by telephone, email or mail.
Ampler Bikes has the right to make revisions to the terms and conditions at any time, without informing you. To be up-to-date with the latest version and any changes, periodically read through the Terms and Conditions.
The product offerings on the web store of Ampler Bikes is directed to private consumers and to business customers entering into a contract with Ampler Bikes without a business purpose, trade intent or self-employed professional activity.
2. ORDERING AND PAYMENT
The order can be made directly on our web store or via email. You may place an order to purchase goods advertised for sale on this site by following the onscreen prompts after clicking on the item you wish to purchase. You will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until the point at which you place your order by choosing the “payment method” button on the “my cart” page. If you submit an order for goods via this site by clicking on the “payment method” button, your order is your request to us to buy the goods you have ordered on this site.
The agreement shall be concluded by Ampler Bikes accepting the order from the customer. The order will be confirmed only after the full pre-payment upon an order receipt or an invoice.
The payment can be made with:

We must receive payment in advance before your order can be processed and the goods can be dispatched, unless we have agreed otherwise in advance in writing.
In cooperation with leasing partners, you can also use following leasing options:
- Slice it by Klarna Bank AB (publ) (Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden) can be used as a payment method in Germany, Austria, Finland. With the financing service from Klarna you can pay your purchase in flexible monthly instalments of at least 1/24 of the total amount (at least 6.95 €) or else according to the conditions stated in the checkout. The instalment payment is due at the end of each month after submission of a separate monthly invoice by Klarna.
- Slice it in 3 by Klarna Bank AB (publ) (Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden) can be used as a payment method in the UK. Klarna enables Customers to split the payment related to the purchase of Merchant’s goods or services into [three] substantially equal payments to Klarna. The first payment is charged to the Customer’s credit or debit card entered at checkout. Each subsequent payment is automatically charged by Klarna to the same credit or debit card the Customer entered initially.

The order will be confirmed only in the case of a positive credit assessment. For this purpose, during the order process and handling of your purchase, we forward your data for an address and credit check to Klarna. We can only offer you the payment methods available based on the result of the credit check. Further information and Klarna’s user terms can be found here. General information on Klarna can be found here. Your personal data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and in accordance with the information in Klarna’s privacy statement.

The order will be confirmed only in the case of a positive assessment by our leasing partners.
We will acknowledge receipt of your order by sending you an automatically generated email confirmation accepting your order. With this email the contract will be concluded.
The contract will relate only to those specific goods which are referred to in our email confirming our acceptance of your order. You should read and check the details in this email to ensure that they are correct. If the details in the email confirming your order are not correct, or if you are not satisfied with the details in the email, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Where we accept your order, we have a legal duty to supply goods that conform to these Terms and Conditions. After the acceptance of an order, Ampler Bikes is entitled to cancel the order without stating its reasons. In such case Ampler Bikes is obligated to refund the payment already made by the customer.
Ampler bikes are exclusively sold at our web store and no third parties are incorporated at this point. Any third-party retailers selling Ampler Bikes products are counted as unofficial. We accept no liability or responsibility for the content of third party advertisements, including, without limitation, any error, omission or inaccuracy contained in their offers, or for any loss or damage that may arise from such offers.
The customer has the right to cancel his/her order at any time before the product has been shipped out from Ampler Bikes workshop in Tallinn, Estonia. In such case Ampler Bikes is obligated to refund the payment already made by the customer during 14 days after the cancellation notice.
3. PRICE AND DELIVERY COSTS
The prices are quoted in EUR.
The net prices of our products include value added tax (VAT) and the shipping costs within European Union*, Norway and Switzerland.
For orders from Norway and Switzerland, VAT will be automatically withheld from the net price. However, all additional customer duties, your local country-based VAT rate and similar public charges are covered by the customer.
The displayed prices are not binding to Ampler Bikes. The displayed prices qualify as a price indication for the customer, not as a confirmed offer. Information displayed on this site relating to prices is subject to change by us without notice. The price displayed on the site at the time of any placed order will be the price applicable to that order.
Occasionally, an error may occur and goods may be incorrectly priced in which circumstances we will not be obliged to supply the goods at the incorrect price or at all. We will (at our discretion) either cancel your order and refund the price you have paid or use reasonable endeavours to contact you and ask you whether you wish to continue with the order with the correct price. If we are unable to contact you or you do not wish to continue with the order at the correct price, we will cancel your order and refund the money you have paid. However, where the correct price of the goods is less than our stated price, we may, at our discretion, continue with your order and charge the lower amount on finalising the contract. Ampler Bikes will notify any changes or amendments prior to shipping the product or products.
*This does not include special member state overseas territories (OMR) that are part of EU.
4. AVAILABILITY AND DELIVERY
Information displayed on this site relating to availability is subject to change by us without notice. We cannot guarantee permanent or continuous availability of all products on this site. All Ampler models are made to order, and we do not have bikes in stock. The production is on-going and all the bikes are hand-assembled. All orders are subject to availability at all times.
We deliver within the European Union, to Switzerland and Norway only. We will deliver the goods ordered by you to the address you give us for delivery at the time you make your order on this site.
Delivery will be made according to the information on the product pages after your order is accepted. The estimated delivery time is noted on the web site at the time you make your order on this site and confirmed per email. The delivery time is subject to change.
Ampler Bikes is not responsible for delays caused by third party suppliers and that of the suppliers’ failure to supply in timely manner any product which is not identified on the Ampler Bikes web store (at the time of the order). The delivery time of the product shall be extended until the delivery is made by the supplier with an additional shipping period.
We will use reasonable endeavours to deliver the goods on any specified date we agree, or if no date is specified, within 30 days after the day on which we accept your order. In the case of unforeseen circumstances beyond our reasonable control (for example, adverse weather conditions, unpredictable delays caused by traffic congestion, road works, diversions or mechanical breakdowns, unforeseen production delays, in each case to the extent beyond our reasonable control) we may not be able to deliver the goods within these timescales and we will not be liable for any delay or failure to deliver the goods if the delay or failure is wholly or partly caused by such circumstances. In the event that a delivery does not take place, an alternative delivery date will be agreed upon.
5. RIGHT TO CANCEL AND RETURN
You have the right to cancel this contract until the day the good will be shipped out from the workshop in Tallinn. The dispatch of the shipment will be notified via email, together with the tracking number.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us (Address: Ampler Bikes, Paldiski mnt. 25, Tallinn 10612, Estonia; email: email@example.com; phone number: +372 880 4990) of your decision to cancel this contract with a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
After physical possession of the bike, you have the right to return the product. The return period will expire 14 days after the day you receive the product. The goods need to be sent back or handed over to us without undue delay, and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you notify your cancellation of the contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. The return of the goods is covered by Ampler Bikes, on the condition that the return and the delivery is determined by Ampler Bikes.
You, the customer, are responsible for returning the bike in its original condition. The bike has to be safely packed into the original Ampler box, if not agreed otherwise with Ampler Bikes. All the extras and the original components that are part of the delivery, including the charger and original Ampler tool box, must be returned in their original condition. For a full refund, the bike will be carefully checked and must be in its original condition. In case of dispute, record of proof and a photo by the time of shipping is required.
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than – (a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or (b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or (c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Cancellation by us
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us without stating its reasons. However, here are some examples: we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered; we do not deliver to your area; or one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price.
If we cancel your contract, we will notify you by email and will credit your account with any sum deducted by us from your credit or debit card as soon as possible.
6. TITLE AND RISK
You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you and we have received funds in full payment for the goods. Once goods have been delivered to you or a person nominated by you, they will be held at your own risk and you will be responsible for them.
The bike is manufactured according to EN15194 regulations. The bike has a maximum standard speed of 25 km/h and a 250 W power limitation. You will take the full responsibility for intentionally or unintentionally altering any features or motor settings of the bike, including those that can be changed to increase the maximum speed or power of the bike.
You will be taking the full responsibility for using the bike in accordance to the legal restrictions in your country’s traffic regulations. Road safety and traffic rules differ within the European Union, Norway and Switzerland. Before use, make sure what the your country-specific rules are.
Our bike comes fully assembled with the exception of the handlebar and pedals. All the tools needed for assembly are included in the package along with the online link (https://amplerbikes.com/service.pdf) to an assembly manual. The assembly of the handlebar and pedals are your responsibility and they need to be assembled according to the instructions in the provided manual, after the bike is delivered to you.
You are fully responsible for your bike after being put into the physical possession of the product and take the full responsibility of last phase of assembly. You are responsible for evaluating your abilities to do the last phase of assembly and, if necessary, turning to a professional bike workshop for doing the last phase.
8. WARRANTY AND GUARANTEE
All Ampler bikes have a 2-year limited warranty period, starting from the shipping date, on all original components (frame, fork, handlebar, power panel), electronics (motor, controller) and battery. The battery is considered defect if, within the 2-year period, the remaining capacity of the battery becomes less than 70% of the original capacity.
All the bicycle components are guaranteed against manufacturing defects (materials and workmanship). During this time, Ampler Bikes is liable for replacing or repairing the components subject to the warranty. The warranty is valid in EU member countries, Norway and Switzerland.
Delivery damages should be noted and signed on the delivery act. In case of delivery damages, Ampler Bikes should be informed immediately after the arrival of the package (maximum within one-week time). Proof of purchase is necessary. Ampler Bikes requires a record of the damages on a photo or a best possible alternative proof.
If any damages occur due the fault of materials or workmanship during the 2-year guarantee period, Ampler Bikes should be informed immediately. Ampler Bikes is the main contact for all defects and will handle the processing of the damages. Customers are kindly asked for most possible detailed description about the issue and photo and/or video materials if possible.
The repair or the replacement is handled in the most efficient way, evaluated by Ampler Bikes, by either covering the repair costs incurred a professional bicycle workshop of the customer’s choice or by transporting the bike to Ampler Bikes’ workshop in Tallinn or Berlin. The defect component will be replaced with another original component or with another equivalent component.
The warranty will be declined in areas as normal wear, tear, neglect, abuse, misuse or crash damages. Warranty does not cover follow-up maintenance or later integration of extras. Warranty does not apply in cases of modifications, improper assembly or incorrect maintenance. Where the claim is deemed not to be warrantable, we will look to offer a reduced cost replacement.
The Ampler bike comes with the wear and tear parts, which are carefully selected from other manufacturers and we do not cover the warranty on normal wear:
COMPONENT – PRODUCT WEAR NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY
- Grips and bar tape – Compression, abrasion and contamination
- Tires – Tread, sidewall, or bead wear
- Pedals – Mechanical wear due to engagement and disengagement, worn out bearings
- Saddle – Abrasion and wear from falls and general use, and contamination from water and dirt
- Chainrings and chain – Mechanical wear between chain and chainrings
- Brake pads – Abrasion between brake pad and braking surface
- Bottom bracket – Wear of bottom bracket bearings
- Headset – Wear of head bearings
- Rims – Excessive impact on uneven roads
- Hubs – Worn out bearings and rotating parts (i.e. freehub body)
- Belt and belt rings – Mechanical wear between belt and sprockets
- Mechanical wear – Includes colour coating
The warranty of the wear and tear parts falls under the warranty terms and condition of the relevant brand. These components on bicycle are subject to inevitably normal wear and tear. However, these parts sooner or later reach to their end, the level of wear is dependent on the care and maintenance and subject to their exposure to rain and water, dirt and mud, sand and dust. To the extent not prohibited by law, we accept no liability for any:
- loss which is not foreseeable (loss is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence of our breach or if it was contemplated by you and us at the time you and we entered into our contract);
- loss which arises when we are not at fault or in breach of these Terms and Conditions; and
- business loss (which includes loss of profits, loss of business, contracts, goodwill, business opportunity and other similar losses, as well as business interruption).
Nothing in these terms will affect any liability we may have: (a) for fraudulent misrepresentation; (b) for death or personal injury arising from our negligence: (c) for breach of any condition as to title or quiet enjoyment of or in relation to any goods supplied by us; (d) in relation to any other liability, including any liabilities under sale of goods or supply of services legislation, that may not by applicable law be excluded or limited.
10. EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL
We will have no liability to you for any delay in delivering the goods you have ordered, if the delayis caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control (including, without limitation, accidents, extreme weather conditions, fire, explosion, flood, storm, earthquake, natural disaster, failure of telecommunications networks, inability to use transport networks, acts of God, terrorist attack, war, civil commotion, riots, strikes, lockouts and other industrial disputes, acts or restraints of Government, and imposition of restrictions on imports or exports).
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity, legality or enforceability of any other part of these Terms and Conditions and the remainder of the provision in question will not be affected.
No person other than you and us shall have any rights to enforce our agreement.
If we fail to insist that you perform any of your obligations under our agreement, or if we do not enforce our rights against you, or if we delay in doing so, that will not mean that we have waived our rights against you and will not mean that you do not have to comply with those obligations. If we do waive a default by you, we will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that we will automatically waive any later default by you.
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under our agreement, unless we agree in writing. We may update, vary and amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice. Each time you order or otherwise purchase any goods from us, the Terms and Conditions in force at that time will apply (as set out on this site). Please check this site to ensure that you understand which Terms and Conditions apply.
12. LAW AND JURISDICTION
These terms and conditions shall be exclusively governed by the laws of Estonia and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Estonian courts. All disputes arising regarding the Terms and Conditions are exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of Tallinn, Estonia.
