Where can I buy Ampler?

You can buy an Ampler e-bike on our website or in our showrooms in Berlin and in Cologne. We don’t sell our bikes through any dealers — instead we sell the bike directly to you in order to offer unbeatable value for money and direct communication with us. 

All our bikes are delivered to your door free of charge within the EU, Norway and Switzerland within 7-14 days. If you’re not happy with your bike, you can return it for free within 14 days of receiving it. 

You can buy an Ampler e-bike on our website or in our Showrooms in Berlin and Cologne.


Available payment methods

The payment can be made using a credit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express), PayPal, bank wire transfer, Sepa, Ideal, Giropay, SOFORT or EPS payment.

In the checkout process, simply choose which payment method you’d like to use and continue to the payment step.


Leasing an Ampler

We also offer three leasing options to pay for your Ampler in monthly instalments and benefit from tax reductions.

JobRad

Employers use JobRad to provide their employees with high-quality bicycles and e-bikes at favourable conditions. If your employer has a contract with JobRad, you can now pay for your Ampler comfortably over monthly payments, which are deducted directly from your salary.
Jobrad is available for employees or self-employed persons in Germany.

BusinessBike

If you’re an employee or self-employed resident of Germany and your employer has a contract with BusinessBike, you can lease an Ampler through BusinessBike. You can pay for your Ampler comfortably over monthly payments, which are deducted directly from your salary.
BusinessBike is available for employees or self-employed persons in Germany.

Klarna

Klarna’s Slice it payment method gives you the option to spread the cost of your purchase into equal monthly payments. If you’re from Germany, Austria or Finland, you can slice your payment into three, six or twelve months’ part-payments. If you’re from the UK, you can slice your payment into three substantially equal payments to Klarna. Klarna is available for customers in Germany, Austria, Finland and the United Kingdom.

VAT refunds

The net prices of our products include VAT tax. The cost of a bike already includes shipping costs to the European Union*, Norway and Switzerland.

For orders from Norway, VAT will automatically be deducted from the net price during checkout. Shipping charges are covered by Ampler Bikes. However, all additional customs duties, your local country-based VAT rate and other similar public taxes are paid by the customer.

Companies within the EU who have a valid VAT ID can place VAT exempt orders. Please enter your VAT ID in the respective field when entering your billing address during the checkout process.

Please note: for orders made in Switzerland and Estonia, Ampler will add their respective VAT IDs on the invoice. This means for these countries, VAT will not be deducted in the ordering process or on the invoice, but instead needs to be claimed in retrospect at according to the regulations and directions of the respective local tax authorities.

*This does not include specific outermost regions (OMR) that are part of the EU.


Free shipping within the EU, Norway and Switzerland

We offer fast 7-14 day free delivery within the European Union, Norway and Switzerland. If you are requesting deliveries for a specific time or date, additional charges may apply.

Currently, we do not deliver the bikes outside of European Union and to the outermost regions of EU Member States (OMR).

*In Norway, all additional customs duties, your local country-based VAT rate and similar public taxes are paid by the customer.


Delivered to your door within 7-14 days

The average delivery time is 7-14 calendar days. Sometimes, if the bike is currently out of stock, the delivery can take longer. You can see the current delivery times immediately after choosing the frame size, color and, if available, gear variant on the respective model page.

The bike will be shipped via a freight forwarder, who will call you one day in advance. Your bike is safely packaged in a large box when you receive it. 

Your Ampler is delivered in a large box and requires minimal assembly. 

95% of the bike is already assembled with both wheels installed. Assembling the bike is simple. All the tools needed for assembly are included in the package, along with an assembly manual. The assembly takes 5-10 minutes. 

To finalize the assembly, you only need to:

  1. Turn the handlebar to the correct position
  2. Attach the pedals
  3. Adjust the height of the saddle 
  4. Start the bike

Tracking your order

As soon as the bike is shipped, your tracking number and delivery date will be sent to your email. Our freight forwarder will call you a day before the delivery to set an appointment with you. If your bike is already on the way, you can track your delivery by entering your order number on the following page: https://mydsv.com/#/track-shipment


Changing the delivery address

If you need to change the delivery address, please contact us and we will help you with it.


Cancelling your order

You have the right to cancel your order until the day the bike will be shipped out from our factory. If the bike has already been shipped, you can return it within 14 days for free.

Free 14-day returns

If you’re not happy with your new Ampler e-bike, you can return it for free within 14 days of receiving it and get a refund. If you want to return your Ampler, contact us and we will send you specific guidelines on packing and returning. 

In order to get a full refund, the bike must be returned in its original condition. The bike must be safely packed into the original Ampler box. All the extras and the original components that are part of the delivery, including the charger and the Ampler toolbox, must be returned in their original condition. 

For a full refund, the bike will be carefully checked. In case of dispute, proof such as photos taken at the time of delivery is required.
