How it works?
  1. At the checkout, choose Splitit as your payment method. Fill in your credit card details and choose how many monthly instalments you want to make.
  2. Splitit will check if your credit card covers the required limit for the purchase amount.
If the check is successful, Splitit reserves the full amount on your credit card and sends you a confirmation email with the payment plan and access to Splitit shopper portal.

If your request is not successful, please choose an alternative payment method for your order.
  3. The first instalment will be charged from your credit card within 3 days of the purchase date. After that, the instalment amount will be deducted from your credit card every month until the purchase is paid in full.
The instalments appear on your bank statement as individual payments.

Frequently asked questions

What is Splitit?

Splitit is a payment method solution enabling you to pay for purchases from Ampler Bikes with your existing credit card by splitting the cost into interest and fee-free monthly payments, without additional registrations or applications.

Are there any fees?

No, Paying with Splitit is always 0% interest, and there are never any late fees.

What conditions do I have to meet to buy with Splitit?

To be eligible, you must have a Visa or Mastercard credit card and the total purchase amount must be available on your card.

You don’t need to register or login to use Splitit. You also don’t need to meet a minimum order value either.

How does the monthly payment process work?

Splitit requests the approval of your card company and reserves the full amount on your credit card. The first instalment will be charged within three days of purchase date. After that, the instalment amount will be charged every month according to your payment plan.

With each monthly payment, the reserved amount on your card is reduced until the purchase is paid in full. The instalments appear on your bank statement as individual payments.

What happens to my credit score if I use Splitit?

Paying with a Splitit installment plan has no impact on your credit score. The bank simply sees the individual installment charges each month. If one of your payment authorizations is declined, there is still no effect on your credit rating; it is simply a declined charge.

What if my credit card expires, gets lost or stolen in the middle of payments?

In case of a lost, stolen or expired credit card, you can contact Splitit or update your credit card details directly via the Splitit shopper portal. For this, go to the “payment plan information” tab, select your payment plan and click “update card details.” Enter the new credit card details and click “confirm.”
